Scanning Photographs and Negaitves
Before the age of digital cameras we were all very familiar with film cameras either using 35mm film (in a roll) or 110mm film (in a cartridge), and when the film was completed we would send it off to the developers and wait for it to be returned a week or so later in a photo wallet together with the accompanying negatives. I personally have boxes full of old photographs and negatives, those that never made it into a picture frame.
These days digital cameras are a dying breed and have been superceded by the digital equivalent. But many of our favorite images were taken using film and now it is possible to have those same images reproduced onto canvas. At Largerpix we receive many old photos and negatives from customers, some of which have been over a hundred years old and we have digitally restored. Using high resolution scanners, we capture the image digitally and then prepare them for printing using Adobe Photoshop.
If you are interested in having some of your old photos printed onto canvas, then we are able to help. All you need to do is send them to us (printed photos or negatives) in a protective envelope together with your details and we will professionally scan and email you a draft image for your consideration.
